If you are a corresponding author affiliated with a participating institution within the CRUE-CSIC Alliance, the agreement reached means you can publish your article open access (OA) with fees covered by your institution.
More than 60 Spanish institutions are participating in the transformative agreement between 50¶È»Ò and Crue & CSIC, meaning that corresponding authors* affiliated with these institutions are eligible to publish their articles OA with fees covered. The agreement includes more than 2,200 journals^ across the Springer and Adis portfolios. In addition, you can enjoy full access to all Springer and Adis subscription journal content.
^Nature journals, Academic Journals and Palgrave journals are not covered by this agreement.

The OA publication service for the following institutions have reached their maximum article allowance. This means that the CRUE-CSIC agreement is no longer covering OA publishing fees for affiliated authors until 01 January 2025.

The option to publish OA via Springer Open Choice is still available, but the publishing fee will not be covered under the agreement until 01 January 2025. Corresponding authors should use alternative funding sources to publish OA or proceed with publication under subscription until the agreement is reactivated.
